About
About Shaadi Ka Ghar
Shaadi Ka Ghar (शादी का घर, "the wedding house") is a free internet radio that plays Hindi wedding songs from the 1990s and 2000s, round the clock. There is no app to install, no account to create and nothing to pay. Open the page and the music is already playing.
How it works
The station runs 57 songs across four rotations, and the rotation on air changes with the hour in India — the same way the music at a real wedding house changes as the day moves through its ceremonies.
- मेहंदी की धुन (Mehndi Dhun) — 09:00–15:00 IST, 10 songs
- हल्दी की रात (Haldi Raat) — 15:00–19:00 IST, 27 songs
- संगीत की रात (Sangeet Night) — 19:00–24:00 IST, 16 songs
- बारात और बिदाई (Baraat & Bidaai) — 00:00–09:00 IST, 4 songs
The on-air rotation is computed from real India Standard Time, not from your device clock, so every listener hears the same rotation at the same moment.
Where the music comes from
Nothing is hosted here. Every track plays through YouTube's official embedded player, and all rights remain with the labels, composers and performers. Song credits are compiled from film soundtrack listings. Because playback runs through YouTube, offline listening is not possible and background playback follows YouTube's own rules.
Who makes it
Shaadi Ka Ghar is built and maintained by Ritesh, alongside House of Knots, a wedding film and photography practice in India. It began as an affectionate side project: a way to keep the songs that play in every Indian wedding house running somewhere permanent.
